Everyday I tell myself that "today I will be a better blogger" - however, it is for some reason, a hard thing for me to do. I am going to try.

It is a beautiful day today in Minnesota, and it sounds like we will get some real summer weather through next week. The 70's are great, but to feel like summer we need more 80's and 90's. Maybe not too many 90's!  

Throughout the summer, our grandchildren are able to come and stay with us. We are having two of our granddaughters (cousins) stay with us next week. That should be fun, and I know they will do a lot of swimming.   I think we have had all six of them at some point which is great. We also have a wedding in the family on August 29. Lots of planning and excitement. Then it's back to school and they will all be busy again.

Our neighbors have a beautiful garden from which they share produce. So, thanks to them, our son, and farmers market, we have been eating some really delicious vegetables.

Sears and Kmart both have 3-day sales on right now. They end tomorrow, August 7. While shopping the items on the 3-day sale, it might be a good time to do some of your back-to-school shopping.
